The importance and significance of Mexican culture is not only reflected in tangible aspects, also the way of living life and especially of facing death identifies and characterizes Mexican culture worldwide.
One of the favorite Mexican cultural expressions is the Altar de Muertos, in which most of the varied and traditional elements of the different ethnicities and cultures of Mexico are integrated: skulls, flowers, candles, animals, papel picado, handicrafts from each region of the country, photographs of the characters to be honored, bottles of tequila, mezcal, food, bread, tortillas and pulque are shown in these offerings that, in addition to preserving an ancestral tradition, reflect the artistic spirit and the way in which Mexicans celebrate the death.
